Working Student in Full-Stack Software Development for AI-Based Flood Solutions (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Collaborate in the creation and optimization of software solutions
• Develop frontend and backend components for our AI-based flood forecasting and risk analysis tools
• Participate in research projects in the field of intelligent decision support systems
• Explore and implement new technologies and methods to optimize our software solutions
• Work closely with our interdisciplinary team of scientists, developers, and climate risk experts

Your Profile

• Enrolled student (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Good knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React)
• Experience in Python programming
• Knowledge in developing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Desired: Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Motivation, teamwork skills, and an independent, responsible work style
• Preferable: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and knowledge in machine learning or data science
