Collective Incubator
The Collective Incubator was founded in 2017 by students of RWTH Aachen University. Today, there is a student initiative with approximately 30 students from various disciplines, who are primarily responsible for community and event management, public relations and contact with corporate partners. This ensures that the Collective Incubator is closely oriented to the community and its needs.
Since 2022, there is also the RWTH Aachen Collective Incubator GmbH, which is concerned with the sustainable continuation of the Collective Incubator and drives the real estate project development. In addition, it serves as a sparring partner for the student board.
Exzellence Start-up Center NRW
As part of the programme, the NRW Ministry of Economics has been funding RWTH start-up activities since 2019 with a total of 23.3 million euros over five years. The Collective Incubator is the largest single measure and will be equipped with a first-class infrastructure for building new start-ups and developing primarily technological prototypes.
